Kidsville School specifically loacted in Jl. Karangsari No.15, Pasteur, Sukajadi, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat 40161, Indonesia is just one angkot away from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in Setiabudi. This is a private International School which is one of the branches of Kidsville School abroad. They mainly have their academic support system from the tuition fees collected upon enrollment. Everything is already provided for the pupils from pencils to snacks or food. This is a school that caters pupils with as young as 1 year old until 6 years old. They offer Gymboree, Preschool, and Kindergarten grade levels. The school provides a separate school areas or centers like Music Room, Art Room, Play Room Area, Sand Pool Area, Drama Play Room, and the classrooms for each grade level that promotes creativity to be unleashed in an individual.
The teaching system in Kidsville is purely influenced and based on the IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum) . It includes the subjects that focuses on Sports, Arts, Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Mandarin, Phonics, and Mathematics. Teachers are expected to teach based on the theme for the week or for the month. Teaching would mean lecture for the specific subject but it also includes the time for free play which teachers are expected to facilitate and play along with the pupils. It is not strictly focusing on the cognitive alone because they focuses to balance and integrate cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of the pupils which are greatly seen and observed in the teaching system. The IEYC is perfectly designed for International Schools that offers thematic teaching system as consistently performed and practiced by Kidsville upon looking to the materials and resources used. Some of these are as stated earlier which are the school centers or areas, technology like projector, laptop, and musical devices, the traditional materials such as books, notebooks, drawing books, and board materials, the are LEGO blocks, and other resources.
Creation of lesson plans is made weekly as depending on the theme for the week or for the month. They are creating grid or table form of lesson plans with the specific tasks or activities to do. In connection with this, evaluation and measurement of the students' performance would mean from the worksheets, activities, and participation in lectures, performances, and classroom agendas.
