The Seed

A short hello, may turn into a great friendship. A small portion of food could feed the hungry. A small step can make you move forward and reach your destination. A small seed could create a big tree. Small ones are just portion but the composition of what is huge.

These kids are fond of playing with seeds for it can be found all over the place in the sand pool area. Every morning, this is part of their routine, to find seeds and count them. Little did they know that they are like seeds of this world.

Teachers are like farmers who plants the seeds in the lives of this young ones so they could bloom like the flowers, beautiful and helpful in this world. But knowing that seeds are the root of this beauty, it would still take time to see the effect of what has been planted. But it is part of the process.

It was said in the Bible that what you sow is what you reap. Which is why it is important to sow first. Plant these seeds in this world. It may take years upon years but at least we are assured that there is going to be a flower that will bloom and beautify this world not just with the charm but with the wisdom in them. We are assured that there is something we can reap.

This has taught me even more on how to be patient, not just with the kids but to life itself. See, these kids have planted a seed in my heart that reaped patience. I had learn from them with just this small thing they do. True enough, small details turned out to be one of the most wonderful learning I would ever have in my life.
